Residents who wish to live in Fair Haven must go through a process coordinated with the local Health Authority to determine their care level needs and eligibility.  A designated Health Authority staff member will assess the resident's individual needs and urgency so that priority can be given to those residents with the highest needs.

Fair Haven reports any bed vacancy to the Health Authority who assists in determining the best match to move into our facility.  Once the vacancy has been offered, it is expected that the resident will move in within 48 hours.

After the resident has moved into Fair Haven, they may request to be put on a transfer list to another facility.
