Burnaby

Burnaby has 10 duplex cottages. The criteria for admission is 55 years of age and low income (i.e. $24,000 per year or less).

Burnaby opened the 55 one bedroom barrier free, accessible apartments with underground parking on March 01, 1999.  40% is at market rents under the criteria set by our partner in this project: British Columbia Housing and Mortgage Corporation.  60% is subsidized on a needs assessment basis.  Hot water and radiant heat is included in the rent.
